There will be a horse pulling contest on Sunday, July 13, 2008 starting at 10:00 a.m. This horse pull will be run by the Approved Rules and Regulations of the Eastern Draft Horse Association, Inc. To move up a class, you must have a fresh horse. Teams will be weighed in on Sunday, the 13th of July from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Fair Grounds, North Stonington, CT. There will be three classes. One class 3000 lbs. and under, 12 feet. One class 3001 to 3300 lbs., 12 feet. One class 3301 and over, 12 feet. There will be ten prizes with ten ribbons for each class, plus a 1st place trophy. If drug test is performed on any pull, prize money will not be paid until results of test have been returned to Fair committee. Current rabies & negative coggins required. |
