The North Stonington
Agricultural Fair is a time-honored tradition in our town, and the Fair
Committee is made up of devoted volunteers, unpaid workers who make this event
possible, and indeed, successful each year. The Fair is always looking for
interested people to give their time and talents in assisting this effort.
Volunteer work can be a few hours or days, as much or as little as you have to
offer. There are many tasks to be done, and we would be happy to discuss what is
needed and how you could help. Call one of the following members to discuss how
you can be a part of our town's Fair: Secretary, Glenda Miner: 860-859-7879 President, Mike Riley: 860-334-5480 Vice President, Fritz Rauch: 860-535-4633 Make it your family tradition to volunteer! The Fair's proceeds benefit our town Fire Department, as well as North Stonington Community Grange outreach, such as Little League baseball, annual educational scholarships, and other charitable giving. The Fair is designated a "Major Fair" by the Association of Connecticut Fairs. NSAF is also a member of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions. |
